  • Resumes: the resume files you upload for analysis. These are stored securely and only accessible to you.
  • Job descriptions: the job posting text or URLs you provide for comparison against your resume.
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide our resume analysis and scoring service.
  • Generate personalized recommendations and suggested resume bullets.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send transactional emails (scan results, password resets).
  • Improve our service and analysis algorithms.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. Resume files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

4. Data Retention

Your resumes, scan results, and account data are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which permanently removes all your data from our systems.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • OpenAI: AI-powered resume analysis. Resume and job description text is sent to OpenAI for analysis. OpenAI does not use this data for training.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data through your account dashboard.
  • Update your profile information in Settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our website.
